I know how daunting it can be to find help, let alone accept the help once you find it! We have so many details in our heads, we've made it nearly impossible to pass the torch to another caregiver.
I want to share a little about my personal journey as our daughter became an adult. For my mental health, and for her best future, I knew I could no longer gatekeep her caregiving. I took the extreme step of leaving the house for three months to travel, volunteer and visit family. I needed the push to get organized -- and to simplify! It has helped so much.
