We dream about a world where all people with special needs and their caregivers have abundant options for living healthy, full lives amongst a supportive community.
As amazing as we are at caring for our children, it's simply not sustainable alone. We need support. We need respite. And as we age, we need a plan for their continuing care.
We want to create a place to answer those needs and bring peace of mind to your family.
Our new Peace of Mind Community concept will build its first community in Central Virginia, called Sarah's Acres. We we will offer programs and respite anchored by 10-12 special needs families who will live on the property, parents and their children aging together.

At the core of Sarah's Acres will be 10-12 housing units for special needs families that will have suites for additional live-in caregivers to support parents.
We know first-hand how hard it is to find quality day programs for adults with special needs. With our setting on a working farm, we can really have fun!
Vacation in an accessible treehouse? Camping? Eclectic cabins? YES PLEASE! And to top it off, parents can get some alone time while kids join in our day program activities.
You can be a part of creating Sarah's Acres and making it a truly special and unique place that will enhance and support special needs families!
Whether you are interested in being a resident, guest, staff member, volunteer, advisor, donor, partner or investor, we are going to need you!
